Apple Mug Crumble (YUM!)

Hellloo Postitve Potatoes! πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹

The other day we picked up my cuz (DanTMoore.com is his website 😁), and he had made apple crumble for food tech and he was eating it. 🀀

I was sooooooo jealous of him eating it, that I thought I would make some apple crumble, too! πŸ˜‰

Then I remembered that our oven is broken. 😐

I have made many mug cakes (mmmmmm!) so I thought why don’t I make apple crumble in a mug?? πŸ˜‹

Everyone thought I was a little crazy with idea of cooking apple crumble in a microwave… 🀨

So I did it. 😏

I fed it to my family and they LOVED it! 😍

It isn’t too sweet, which is perfect!! ❀

I really hope you love this recipe as much as me and my family do!! 🀩

I thought I would take pics of every step to make it easier for you guys to follow. πŸ˜„

Time:  about 5 minutes ⏰

Makes: enough for 1 lucky person πŸ˜‰

Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp almond meal
  • 2 tbsp finely desiccated coconut
  • 1 tbsp chilled, salted butter (if you don’t have salted butter just use a pinch of salt to blance the sweetnessπŸ‘)
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 baking powder

Method:

Peel, core and slice the apple into small pieces.

In a microwaverble mug put the apple pieces, then add the honey and cinnamon.

Mix well.

Cook for 1 minute in the microwave.

While the apples are cooking, in a different bowl, put the rest of the ingredients.

Mix well.

Roll the mixture into a ball, place in mug on top of the apples, then flatten the ball to cover the apples.

Cook the apple crumble in the microwave for 2-3 minutes or until brown and bubbling.

Let this delicious apple crumble cool slightly before eating.

Enjoy!!

I really hope you guys will loooove this recipe like my family does! πŸ˜‰

See ya next time! πŸ‘‹

Potatoes Out & Happy Cooking (and eating)!
