~Inspiring Affirmations~ Week #19 (plus an achievement! 😎)

Hello beautiful potatoes! ❤❤

Today I have some special news! 🤗

Since I was about seven or eight years old I have been terrified to go in a lift. 😩

I always made mum or dad take the stairs with me, no matter how tall the building was! 🏨

I hated going underground (like car parks and stuff), worrying that the ground would collapse, trapping me and my family underneath. 💥

Anything that I didn’t have 100% access to get out when I felt like it was a no. 🙅‍♀️

Once, when me and my family were going on holiday, there was this very slightly underground car park that had this kind of like garage door on it. 🚗

When we entered, the door started to shut and I freaked out, screaming and crying. 😱

When I think about it now, I don’t see the big deal. ⭐

Sometimes now I do feel a bit uncomfortable in underground places, but I trust that the universe will protect me, and if not then it was meant to be. ❤

Back to the lift story. 🎶

Yesterday we were going to IKEA, a giant furniture shop, to get me some new draws because mine were breaking. 🛒🏬

Mum was like are ya feeling like ya wanna go in a lift today? 😁

I was like HECK NO! 😲

And she was like, ok. 👍

We found the draws I wanted, got a few other things we needed, then headed off towards what I call the boxing area (where all the boxes are for the furniture to build🪑).

We got a trolley 🛒 and collected the boxes we needed. 📦📦📦

Me and my brother sat on the boxes on the trolley, having fun, paid for the items and headed to the car park. 🅿

There were lifts or escalators to get down to the car park, which was underground. 🥓

Mum was like wanna go in a lift, lani?

I was like maybe ……. ok……

Mum was like 🤯🥳🤗😁

We lined up in the queue for the lifts. 😆

I wanted to go in lift, just us, but a family of three followed us in. 👨‍👩‍👧

Mum held my hand. 🤝

Then it was over. 🤗

Today, when we pick up my cuz WE‘RE GONNA PARTY to celebrate my achievement! 🤘

OK.
