Welcome back to The Blooming Bubble!

My birthday is coming REAL soon, so I thought it would be fun to share my ✨15th✨ birthday wishlist!!

First of all, I CAN’T BELIEVE I’m going to be turning FIFTEEN!!! 🤯

Second, I thought this post could help you guys get to know me better and give you guys some inspiration on what you might want for your birthday or help you buy gifts for someone you know!

ALSO I just wanted to acknowledge something:

Every year on my wishlists, whether it’s Christmas or my birthday, I have ALWAYS put ✨dog✨ on my list BUT THIS YEAR I WON’T HAVE TO SINCE WE ARE GETTING ONE!!! 🥳🥳🥳

Well, let’s get into my birthday wishlist!

clothes
Recently I’ve been really into clothes, so I asked my mum if us two could go ✨shopping✨ a few weeks before my birthday to buy clothes and she said yes!! 🎉
purse/ wallet
I’ve had the same wallet for YEARS.
Literally since I was seven years old, so I definitely need one.
phone
I’ve had the same phone for two years.
It’s a Samsung Galaxy S7.
I know that might not sound like I need one but, before I got it, it was my dad’s, so it’s pretty old.
phone case
I want a phone case, even if I don’t get a new phone because the phone case I have is breaking and wouldn’t protect my phone from anything lol.
screen protector
I also need a screen protector because I don’t have one right now and I will definitely drop my phone and crack it. 😬
SD card
I would only need this if I didn’t get a new phone.
My current phone has a very small amount of space on it, so it would help a lot if I had more space on my phone. 😊
books
I love reading!!!
It’s one of my FAVOURITE things to do! 😍
earrings
I’m obsessed with earrings!
If you didn’t know, I got my second piercings (so now I have two on each ear) a few months ago!
I can’t wait to take the earrings out and match with my other piercings!
money
I mean, you can’t got wrong with cash! 🤑
You can buy ANYTHING with money!
I think I’ll probably just ask for money from everyone except my mum and dad. 😊
lego
I love Lego because it’s so fun!!
lip balm
My lips always get really dry, so I go through lip balm fast. 🙂
food
Who doesn’t want food for their birthday?
I know I do! 🧀
chocolate
Even though I already put food on the list, I feel like chocolate deserves its own spot.
Right now, I can’t eat soy or chocolate products because it gives me a rash on my face, but on my birthday I am going to ignore the chocolate allergy (I’m going to stick with the soy one because a little soy goes a long way) and eat chocolate!! 🎉
There’s this AMAZING white chocolate that’s sugar free and SO good! 🍫

I don’t want to jinx it, but this year I think I’m FINALLY GOING TO HAVE A PARTY!!! 😁

My birthday is scheduled for next Sunday (and my birthday is on the monday) and I’m going to timezone!

I’m back!!

It’s been sixty-six days since you’ve last seen me…..😬

So right now it’s the last few days of school holidays.

The last few weeks/months have been quite busy.

I’ve started doing more school work, since I’m in year 9, so it’s been harder to post and I haven’t been able to think of post ideas…

You probably know that I’ve ALWAYS wanted a dog my entire life!

Every birthday or Christmas I’ve asked for one…

SO FINALLY WE ARE GETTING A DOG!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

A Golden Retriever! 🐕

Mum had been searching for a ANKC registered breeder for a few months and then contacted the Golden Retriever state puppy officer and she directed mum to a breeder!

Mum filled in a long form about our family, house, backyard and caring for the puppy.

The breeder said the form looked great, so we got to go and meet the puppies!!

Last weekend we went to meet the puppies and they were so cute! 😍

A few days after that the breeder contacted mum and said that we would get one of her puppies!!! 🎉

Normally it can take up to a year to get a puppy, so we are SO lucky! 🥳

THIS HAS BEEN MY LIFE LONG DREAM!

We still don’t know which one we’re getting but I’m just so glad that we’re getting one!! 🥳

We only know that it’s going to be a boy!

Guess what time of year it is……. 😉

IT’S ALMOST TIME TO GO TO BRIGHT!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

So last year I did Pack with me for Bright! 💼 post and it was REALLY fun so I decided to do it again this year!!! 🤩

In case you didn’t see the post, it’s where I show you all the things I am packing for Bright! 🤩

I am soooooooooooooooooooooo excited for Bright! 😁

It’s kind of cool to see my style from a year ago compared to now! 😋

Clothes:

Tops

I packed nine tops (ignore the crinkles in them please 👍) 👕🎽👚

I have been wearing all these tops a lot lately so it makes sense to pack the ones I love! 😍

Shorts

I packed eight shorts. 🩳

I also don’t know if this counts as shorts, packed some overalls!!! 😎

Pants

Since it’s pretty hot up at Bright I only need to pack like two pants! 👖

So I did. 😎😎😎😎😎

Bathers

I packed one short sleeve and one long sleeve bather tops! 👍

I also packed two bather shorts and two bather bottoms! 😋

Hats

I packed four hats! 👒🎓🎩⛑

A hat that covers your head and neck, two caps and a hat that I have no idea what to call it! 😁

Pyjamas

I packed five pyjama tops! 🤩

I also packed five pyjama shorts! 😴

Jumpers

I packed two jumpers, just in case it gets a bit chilly! 🧥

Underwear

Ok ok I did pack some, but I’m not going to show it….. 😉

Shoes

I pack my river shoes (so I don’t cut my feet on the sharp rocks in the river), my trusty sneakers, some fanciers shoes and my white thongs! 👞👟👡👠👢

Accessories:

Earrings

I didn’t really want to bring as many earrings as I did last year so I just packed a mini hoop and a medium hoop (plus the ones that I’m wearing right now which I’ll wear when we go) 👂

Necklaces

I packed a cute penguin necklace that I got from my cousin and a brave necklace that I got from my best friend! 😁

Bracelets

I packed a bracelet that I got for my birthday from my mum and one that I got for Christmas from my Nana! 🍌

Bags

I had to pack my Blooming Bubble bag! 👜

I had to use an old picture of the bag because it is currently in the dryer all wet. 😀

Goggles

Make-up and Toiletries:

Make-up

I packed my concealer, mascara, eyeshadow (ignore how dirty the case is please), lip balm and paint brushes that I put my eyeshadow on with! 😎

Moisturizer

I had to pack this other wise my skin would fall off. 😉

After swimming in the river my skin gets VERY dry! 😐

Tooth brush and tooth paste

I packed a nice new tooth brush and a natural tube of tooth paste! 🦷

Nail polish and brush

I packed some green nail polish and a mini brush! 💅

Toys:

I had to pack my toy Ginger!! 🔴🐼

I also packed my pillow but I didn’t take a picture. 📷

Like last year, I have decided to show you guys what I got for Christmas 2021!!

I love watching and reading what people got for Christmas so I hope you’ll enjoy too!

Let’s get into it!!

(I am very happy and grateful for what I got!!! 😁)

First of all I got Books! I love to reading and I got 3 books! I can’t wait to read them!!! 😍

Secondly got Lego! I love building lego and saw this really cool looking Airport and I am so glad I got it! 🏗

Third thing I got was a Camp Half-Blood t-shirt!! I’m a huge Percy Jackson fan, so I’m really excited that I got it!! ⚔😎

Fourth I got a nice yellow t-shirt! 🤩

Fifth thing I got was wireless earbuds, which I’ve been wanting for a few years now, and I’m so happy to have them. 😁

Sixth thing I got was a whole bunch of bike stuff…… a lock, a drink bottle holder, some lights and a mini pump.. in my last post I said that my bike broke… so why would I need all this? 😀

LASTLY I GOT A NEW BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳 I am soooooooooooooo happy about this because for weeks I’ve had to ride my scooter when we go around the block when everyone else is riding their bike (well my bro was kind enough to let me ride his bike a bit ❤)!!!!!! 😁😁

For breakfast we had pancakes! (YUMM) 🤤

We are dog-sitting my cousins’ dog until like next week because they are on holiday, so I got him a present!! 🎁

He’s sooooooo cute!!! 😍

A: I’m 14 years old! 😁

Q: What’s your fav book?

A: I love all the Rick Riordan books! 😍 I listen to them as audio books! 👂📖(I’ve listened to Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Heroes of Olympus and am just up to the last book of The Trials of Apollo! 😁) My favourite series by Rick Riordan is The Heroes of Olympus!!!! 🦸‍♀️/🦸‍♂️ My favourite book in each series is The Titan’s Curse for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The House of Hades for The Heroes of Olympus and (so far, since I haven’t finished the series) The Dark Prophecy for The Trials of Apollo!!! 🤩

Q: Who is you fav character in Rick Riordan’s books (out of the ones that you’ve read)?

A: Leo Valdez, Nico di Angelo, Will Solace, Hazel Levesque and Zoe Nightshade!! (ok, ok… I know it’s a lot of people but I can’t chooooooose! 😉)

A: I love dogs 🐶 the most (sorry every other animal 😥) but I also loove guinea pigs 🐹 and cats 🐱!! ❤❤

A: Spiders… 😱🕷 and mosquitoes 🦟

Q: What’s your fav movie? 😍

A: The Greatest Showman!!! 💃🕺

Q: What is your least fav movie? 😅

A: The Percy Jackson movies!! OMG THEY WERE SO BAD!!! 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 JUST READ THE BOOKS GUYS….TRUST ME!! I was so excited to watch them and then they disappointed me bad… 😭 (just hear me rant: they made it so Percy was 16 instead of 12 in the first one and the prophecy age was 20!!! They also made it so Percy knew the prophecy in the first movie!!!! AND Annabeth’s hair was brown, not blonde… 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️)

Q: What’s your fav food?

A: I been loving pesto chicken pizza and this delicious white chocolate. I also looove banjo bears (sadly I can’t have any tomato, carob or cacao or any types of chocolate, because a rash on my face flares up when ever I eat those foods. 😑 So no pizza or chocolate for me… 😭), chicken flavoured chips, my Heathy Popcorn Chicken and a lot more other things I know I love but have just forgotten about! 😍

Q: What’s your fav drink? 🥤

A: Lately I’ve been obsessed with smoothies and made a really nice one with banana, frozen blueberries, honey and almond milk! 🥤 I also love Kombucha! My fav flavours are mango or orange! 🥭🍊

Q: What do you want for Christmas 2021?

A: Just like last year I want a puppy 🐶 or a kitten 🐱… but I doubt I’ll get one…. 😭 I also want slime stuff, wireless earbuds ear and my bike broke so I really need a new bike! 🚲

Healthy 💪 Popcorn 🍿 Chicken 🐔 (with pictures!)

Hey guys! 👋

A few weeks ago I really felt like some popcorn chicken so I looked up a recipe and it only had tapioca starch and I thought that sounded a bit boring so I decided to make my own recipe up! 🤩

I tested this recipe every week for a few weeks (to my family’s delight 😍) and thought that it was good enough to put on my blog! 🤤

So yesterday I made it for dinner and took pics of me making it so I could put it here! 🍿🐔

Let’s get into it!!!!!!!!! 🤤🤤🤤

(I would recommend that you have a second person helping you make this, I had my mum, she helped cook them so that they all wouldn’t burn)

Time: about 45 mins prep and 30 mins cooking 🍽

Makes: enough for 5 people (about 10-12 each)

Chicken Coating:

1 cup almond flour
1 cup tapioca starch
1 tsp salt
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp chicken bone broth powder (optional if you don’t have it )
2 tsp dried parsley

2 eggs
Around 1 kg free-range chicken breast
Ghee for frying

1. Measure the all chicken coating ingredients into medium sized mixing bowl and whisk to combine.

2. Chop up the chicken into bite sized pieces.

3. Get 2 baking trays and line them with baking paper.

i know it looks gross but its so much easier than doing it individually! 👍

4. Whisk the eggs in a different bowl and add the chopped up chicken. Mix the eggs and chicken together (this is much eaiser then dipping them individually).

5. Put about half of the chicken coating in a different bowl.

6. Lay some pieces of chicken in the larger bowl, then sprinkle the other bowl’s coating on top and then just toss it to get the coating to stick.

7. Place the pieces of coated chicken on to the baking paper lined trays and repeat step 6 until all the chicken has been used up.

8. Put about enough ghee to cover the bottom of the pans in 4 pans (it makes it way faster to have more pans) and heat on medium-high heat the ghee until it is melted and hot.

9. Place chicken in the pan(s) (careful not to over crowd) and once they are nice and golden-brown and crispy on one side, flip them over to cook on the other side.

10. UPDATE: When you think they are done ( I cut one in half to make sure) place the popcorn chickens on a paper towel lined plate (this helps to keep ’em nice and crispy) and then cook the rest, cleaning the pans and replacing the ghee in between batches to prevent the old bits of coating burning.

11. Once all the popcorn chickens are cooked, serve them up! (maybe with a salad or something)

Hi guys! 👋

Last Sunday (25th July) it was my 14th birthday!! 🎉

I thought it would be really cool to show you what I got! 😊

Sadly, we were in lockdown AGAIN for my birthday… 😢

My party has been delayed from the day before my birthday (24th) to late AUGUST! 😮

…

Well anyway.. we’re out of lockdown now and hopefully not going to go in lockdown EVER AGAIN. 🤨

Ok….

Let’s get into it!! 🤩

1. First of all I got some Elmer’s Gue. 😁 I love making slime, but sometimes I just feel like playing with it instead of making it. I love Elmer’s Gue so much! It’s so fun and satisfying!

2. Celebration Slime Kit (10 pack)

I love slime! So I asked for a giant slime kit. 😊 It’s so fun! 🎉 I’ve already made all of them!! 😛

3. Play-doh Super Cloud Slime

When I first saw this I was like I NEED IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I first felt it I was in love. 😍

I expected it to feel like cloud slime, but it felt like butter slime!!! 😁

*plays with it as is writing this….*

4. Wiltshire Egg Beater

OK OK

You’re prob wondering an egg beater….. why?!

Well I don’t really know…

Once I saw one and then just really wanted it…

idk 🤔

The other day I made some GF scones and wanted to have some whipped cream on it with jam, so I whipped it with the egg beater! 😎

5. Wiltshire Cookie Dough Scoop

I saw people using it for cookie dough and ice cream and thought how easy it looked.

So I asked for it for my bday. 😄

6. Kogan Active+ II Smart Watch (Minty Green)

My bro got a smart watch for his birthday so I really wanted one! ⌚

I really love it! ❤

The colour is very pretty! 💚

I go this from my brother and I play it everyday!! 🖥🖱

I also got some clothes! 👕

Thanks to my amazing aunty who made me feel special even though we were in lockdown, secretly asking my mum to buy yummy food from them to give me.. ☺

TIME TOOOOO PARTY!!!!!!!!!!! 🥳

So today I want to show you a few things, like what I got for Easter and what I’m doing for Easter! 🤳

So for the last couple of years for Easter I didn’t get any chocolate because I was on GAPS, I just got toys (which is still fun, but not the same). 🪀

Last year, we were in lockdown, so we had to stay home for Easter which was very VERY sad. 😭

Today, mum, dad, my bro and me are going to our Aunty and Uncle’s house for dinner and it’s gonna be EPIC!! 😄

So this Easter I got a Banjo Bunny Carob Easter Egg and Banjo Bunny Carob Easter Gift Bag. 🤤
